not really. 4-3 vs Quads 1 and 2, along with 3 Q3 losses. Nothing about them screams NCAA at all.

They’ll be on the bubble. Watch the selection show and holler back.

Agreed, and I don’t know if USU punching their ticket the honest way helped any. I would be hoping for business as usual for the SoCon with ETSU, and no late heroics in the A10, AAC, and WCC (is SMC ever dead?).

It’s not that UNI has more over others. They do have less blemishes than others on the bubble. That has sometimes meant something. But, I honestly think this one has them out. One too many blemishes with not enough quality.

My own opinion is games in November and December have no bearing on how a team will play in March, but it is part of their resume.

That said, UNI beat South Carolina in Mexico and Colorado on the road. They lost by 5 to WVU as well. I think ESPN will have a camera on them and they’ll have a chance to play in Dayton.

I’ve suspected an evaluation reset during championship week as the field sets. Those “good wins” get further scrutiny if those wins are to actual tournament teams. For UNI, sure, there’s South Carolina, but are they a tournament team? UNI really only has Colorado to its name. And Colorado is losing stock.

They didn’t get help from SMC, who pretty much punched their ticket yesterday. And SMC’s schedule now looks like gold. Wisconsin, Utah State, Arizona State, and BYU twice...

Now, head-to-head with Richmond? That’s tough. And even tougher if you get good runs from Xavier, Texas, or fading/inconsistent Wichita?

The bids I don’t get is the love for the PAC this year. If anyone is stealing bids, look no further. If UNI or anyone finds themselves on the outside, thank the committee with their illogical love for Arizona State, UCLA, and Stanford.

SMC had totally clinched prior to last night. They're up in the 7/8 realm. Might get a 6 if they win tonight vs Gonzaga.

Part of the problem for UNI is the brackets. Texas and Texas Tech have to play in the QF. Means 1 of those must win. A few others like that as well- like UCLA/Stanford(if Stanford beats Cal). Cincy/Wichita(if Wichita beats UConn).
