Things were either taught in African-American studies or they weren't.

Really the regular season is meaningless if you're one of the top 35 teams. I don't consider playing a whole season for improved seeding to be meaningful. For the bubble teams the whole season is meaningful as 1 cold streak will end your NCAA tourney hopes.

It's fitting that the only conference game televised for many of the 1 bid leagues is the championship game of their conference tournaments. It's the only meaningful game all year in those conferences.

You don’t think there’s a difference between a 1 seed and a 9 seed? Maybe that’s why your team has no realistic chance to make the big dance.

My belief that the regular season is meaningless for the top 35 teams has no bearing on the teams ability to make the playoffs.

If you get a 9 seed, is your season a failure? No. Of course not. You can still win the NCAA tournament. If you get a 1 seed, has your team succeeded in meeting all it's goals? No. Of course not. How you do in the NCAA tournament is all that matters.

What if it turned out that all college championships are a sham and the #1 factor in both football and basketball is simply strength of schedule (or of tournament path)?
