league now has to hope DePaul doesn't right itself right now- as their next game- Xavier.

Watched the last eight minutes or so of the GU vs. DU game. Yes, the loss was "brutal" for GU in that it greatly harms the Hoyas' tourney chances. But playing on the road against a desperate (and still talented despite all the losses) Blue Demon team and with MM still out and Yurtseven rusty ... I can see why Georgetown lost.

I don't think the BE is worried that DePaul is about to get hot and "knock out of Big Dance contention" one or two league teams.

But we'll see.
Well, they pretty much did with Georgetown. And how many times do you see a bounce off a win and it gets 2-3 wins in a row? League does get lucky IMO this game is at Xavier and not at DePaul.

I get your point, S20. And, yes, DePaul could find some of its early season magic and go on a bit of a win streak — thus damaging the tourney hopes of some BE foes. I would love to see it as a DePaul follower. But, alas, I do not anticipate that happening.

Indiana getting a huge win today.... up 5 with 50 seconds to go..

But Rutgers losing again. They're sliding more and more here. Would be really bad for them. get helped by a ton of losses near the bubble.

If there was any doubt that SJU has no chance to make the tournament except thru the BET... 81-66.

A lot of huge chances for teams not in right now this weekend-
Purdue vs Michigan
Providence vs Marquette
South Carolina vs LSU
Memphis vs Houston
Tennessee @ Auburn

Georgetown with a total must win IMO. They lose to DePaul and it's not going to be pretty.

Only 2 of these 5 teams won- Providence and Memphis. Some had a real shot but lost.

URI has a couple head scratching losses now, with the loss to @Davidson and to Brown earlier in the year.

They're lucky Duquesne and Richmond are strong programs this year, since without them they wouldn't have such a nice NET ranking and would be lacking in Q2 wins
