They actually do pretty well.
One thing that can help is the rise of on-line schools, some of them public. So when you get to high school with all the specialized courses, its not up to you to be the teacher in all those areas. A lot of home-schoolers become on-line schoolers.
Thanks for the info. My daughter has applied to several "specialty" high school programs and during the process I did see where private and homeschooled kids could also apply but had to jump through extra hoops, etc.
