Last year the MAC released the conference schedule on Feb 20.

Bottom line we should know soon. Hope we get a MAC home game in September.

The MAC teams coming to Ypsi are: BG, CMU, NIU and TOL. Would love to see CMU or TOL come in September or early October. Save BG for Homecoming.

EDIT2: I checked the schedules for BSU, Miami, Ohio and WMU. None of those dates are open.

So we have to play NIU either in Ypsi or DeKalb or have a bye. (EDIT: The next post corrects this post about playing @NIU. We can't. NIU is OUR home game).

Why would it be in DeKalb? Didn't we play down there last season, or am I losing my mind (which is completely possible)?

I wouldn't mind an early home game with them, they weren't very impressive last season. Starting the year @Kentucky, Coastal Carolina, and NIU gives us a good chance to start 2-1 I think.

You are RIGHT. If we play them on Sept 19 it is our home game.

Mizzou is beatable. We don't get a Big 10 opponent this year so hopefully we get a win over an SEC team instead. Not sure how good UK will be but we've played well down there in recent years.

A sweep of all home game is feasible.

I think most "expects" feel Kentucky is going to be pretty good. They did lose their best player leaving early for the NFL though. The kid who played QB who was also their leading rusher AND receiver (that isn't a typo). So I'm sure that will have a big impact on them.

I don't see the issue at QB. I think Helbig or Hutch will be able to step in and be fine. Our Offense should be good this year as I think EVERY position is getting better (maybe not QB as Glass left big shoes to fill). We return our Line, WR's are the best I've seen in a while, RB should be really good, etc. We need to get edge rushers and LB play.
