Overpopulation is not the problem. Population saturation is the problem. Everywhere there are small populations the environment is pretty much fine.

Oh, I agree and don't fear the trials and tribulations that are coming, but they will come with overpopulation. A measure of wheat for a days wages, Revelations 6:6.

Well Eric, God also knows when it's over. So it might be that we have just enough to get us to that point. It's certainly something to ponder.

In fact the Bible seems to suggest we are very late in the 4th quarter before His return. Scripture puts today about 6000 years from Adam. Even several of the early church fathers wrote they believed the 2nd coming would be about the 6000 year mark. A 2000 year church age, then the 2nd coming.
