Is everyone also forgetting the completely missed offsides call on Cinci the announcers saw and replayed clearly ? No sane person would believe the officials favored Tulane yesterday

Did anyone say they did?

It was an even game between 2 even teams. Tulane made the winning plays when it mattered. They won because they deserved to win.

Wow. I had not heard about that.

It's okay. Three years ago UCF destroyed a trash can in a baseball dugout over 3 days.

We were finally able to get revenge by stealing their football playbook this year.

That win really mean that much to you guys?

Honestly, I think there was one person who maybe made that claim.

Most of the debate was over the Pass Interference call in the endzone... Personally, watching it on TV, I think that was the correct call; Threats never turned around, he played the receiver and not the ball. But then again, if the result would have been a TD, sometimes you take the penalty.

But outside of that one comment, I haven't heard anyone suggest that the game was badly called. You're always going to have a couple of missed calls and a couple more dubious calls...it's the nature of the game.

There are a lot of bad calls at key moments going around. I think all plays should be reviewable for all clearly missed calls or no calls. Not saying that every play should be reviewed, but coaches should be able to challenge penalties and non penalties with their normal challanges.

Penalties did not decide this game. The PI call was not a good call and essentially changed the entire game but even after that Cincy had a chance to win and the UC receiver just flat dropped the ball. Tulane D was really good yesterday. I was surprised by their size and athletic ability

RE: ***Official Tulane @ Cincinnati Game Thread***
Tulane played a relatively mistake free day.

1. QB played smart and managed the game and hit passes when he needed to.
2. Tulane D did a nice job of tackling.
3. Spears was able to run thru arm tackles and when hit almost always managed to go forward. He did a great job all day making it 2nd and short yardage after a 1st down run play.

I would have been interested to see what Bryant could have done, but I don't know if that would actually changed the outcome.

Yeah, it would have been nice to go out like a baller. 3 straight conference champs and losing to an AAC team in 3+ years (UCF B12). Props to Tulane and a helluva turn around.

That was strange, yes.

I’m not sure what’s up with that. I hope it’s not personal hostility, but it definitely appears that way on the surface.

I read the Fritz interview on Rivals and he was very complimentary of Cincinnati and Fickell. Fickell probably just wanted to get off the field. Can’t blame him. Hard fought game on both sides.
