RE: Iowa Democrat caucus results delayed due to unspecified ‘quality checks’
Delay doesn't seem to be helping Biden. He is in free fall in the NH polls, down to 10-12% in 4 polls released yesterday, well behind Mayor Pete and Sanders with 20+%. Warren also appears to be slipping, although not as much.

<edit> 7 polls in the last two days and Biden is 10-12 in all of them and Sanders/Mayor Pete 20+ in all. Warren is at 17 in one, but 9-13% in the other 6.

Some more on the shadiness in Iowa-Democrats don't even believe in Democracy for Democrats.
"...Sanders had to get a last-minute replacement captain in Waukee 4, someone not formally aligned with the campaign. He fell short of viability there by five votes. County chair Bryce Smith, who made the decision, said he was responding to a late directive from the Iowa Democratic Party that said they would allow one nonresident captain per campaign, per precinct, but “the discretion of the chair is what goes,” i.e. this ultimately was a judgment call for county chairs. Smith said he didn’t like the change to the longstanding rule — “What’s stopping a campaign from hiring professional persuaders and high profile people?” he asked — and decided to bar nonresident captains. The IDP has not yet commented.

As a result, some would-be captains in Dallas County from multiple different campaigns were pulled off the job (Smith said he got “five, six, eight” calls to complain). Meanwhile, in other districts, nonresident captains were common.

Caucus participants later in the week would offer an eyebrow-raising number of other issues: bad head counts, misreported results, misreads of rules, wrong numbers, telecommunications errors, and other problems...."

Biden was never really running. He had to run for their to be an impeachment offensive to protect him from being prosecuted.

This is precisely why in the last general election every precinct that claimed voting problems wand wanted to their polls to remain open past vote counting time should have been denied. They were unscrupulous polling officials running in bogus votes to try to cover or overcome legitimate results that were being posted. In Atlanta the same garbage happened with polls in some districts still open and results not reported past when the rest of the state had reported. Those on the left respect no law, and no process, when trying to achieve their ends.

If a polling place claims issues and is to remain open a state bipartisan team needs to show up at that precinct seize all of the votes already cast, the registration logs, and oversee any past due voting that is done. To failure to take these precautions likely cost the Republicans 7 house seats in 2016 as seats in Broward/Dade, Arizona, at least 2 districts in California and several other places tipped close elections through such shenanigans or absentee irregularities.

This is where the right has to be smarter!
