Yeah, they are. 3 or so seasons ago the Jags had some fun with SDSU in a couple games, winning both, one in SD and one at Sadd Ladd.

Home and home's are always good. Just watch the pocket book on the travel out there. I know our "money games" to Washington and Oregon weren't quite all the profits advertised due to travel.

I like the game, but hate the travel for it.

As long as we're not going across the Mississippi 3 times in 4 weeks, then once you get on a plane it doesn't really matter where you're going.

flights across the country wear you down. I've done them plenty of times. Not sure where we would fly in to, but San Francisco is 3.5hrs away.

Appears to be an international airport, just outta Fresno - Fresno-Yosemite Intl Airport

I went to Fresno State on a recruiting trip for my company. Not a big fan of Fresno personally, but maybe I did not see the good side of town. There are definitely some rough places that are not too far from campus. One other fact, some of the local gang members use the Fresno State gear for gang attire. I saw his on one of the true crime type shows on TV. I thought it was strange, but I guess it does boost the sale of licensed attire.

BTW, interesting fact; The full name of the university is "California State University at Fresno." There were banners with these words on it all over campus when I traveled there. I always thought the school was Fresno State University.

The California State system is weird. Fresno State, San Diego State, San Jose State, etc. are all technically California State @ _________ but the schools all brand themselves as separate entities.

We’re more used to the UT-El Paso, UT-San Antonio, UT-Arlington approach.

I mean, we are talking about california after all.

I like it. 40,000 seats, in the valley, Fresno has a good name brand.

When I said I did not care for Fresno, I only meant the city not the university.

I've also long found it a little strange that Cal State Fullerton stuck with the (seemingly) more awkward way of shortening the name.

Fresno St. is a nice H&H partner, btw.

BTW, Ga. Southern fans, which G5 schools would you most want H&H's with? I would think on your list would be Marshall. Wasn't there an interesting 90's history between the two of you? Anyway, who else would you want to play?

Marshall is up there. UCF also. Would like to see a few CUSA teams like MTSU , WKU, and USM.

Are future schedules aren't bad, but it would be nice to get a mid P5, heck any P5, team to a home and home.
