After three games on the road the Lady Dukes get to play a couple at home this weekend. First up is Hofstra on Friday at 7:00 PM. The Pride has been having a rough go of it in conference play so far this season. They are currently 0-6 in conference play and 3-13 overall. They have a new Head Coach and staff this season so it seems that it is taking some time to get things sorted out. Looking forward to being at the Convo on Friday ROOTIN!!

Hofstra is firmly in the basement (what the heck happened there?) so it should be a good night for the Good Gals, but let's hope they don't go in with that attitude.

I believe it was an assistant coach who died this summer. Such a sad event....

Will Kayla be back, or is Coach holding her until Sunday?

I'd like to see Kayla get a few minutes to help her make sure her injury is good to go in a game situation. The only reason I would hold her out is if she is not at or very close to 100%, especially given how well Rayne has played in her absence.

I'd like to see Rayne start and Devon come off the bench. Rayne has been gangbusters lately and Devon is not playing as well as she did.

Per the DNR this morning, I doubt we see Kayla play today.

Makes sense to me. The Dukes should be able to win the game tonight with our eyes closed. Hofstra has played 3 road CAA games to date. They lost them all by 23, 31 and 20 pts. Let's make sure Kayla is 100% when it matters most down the stretch and into March Madness.

I'm hoping to see quite a bit of the bench tonight. Hopefully our Canadian, for instance, will get more than scrap minutes at the end.

I would love to see everyone on the team get playing time in today's game.

I'm still trying to figure that out. Why she doesn't get more time is beyond me. She showed herself to be better than that last year, but now she seems unsure of herself and playing behind when she does get minutes. I think she's played too many minutes now to get a redshirt, so what exactly is the plan for her? It wouldn't surprise me to see her transfer.

Kayla in sweats tonight so she won’t be playing. Also notice Bre is not present and her spot on the team roster is gone. Did I miss an announcement about her while we were in Florida and Frisco?

Good Gals up 50-21 at the half. Just don't want anybody hurt in this one the rest of the way.
