We host the Shockers next week in a big one.

XCONN will be better next year when Tulsa is not holding them back.

Well they are 1-5 vs us in the last six with five loses in a row..........

Sadly if UConn goes on a run next year and does well in the Big East, no media outlet will be reporting the obvious conclusion ... That the AAC is closer to the Big East than people want to admit.

They will instead run with the story that the AAC was actually holding UConn back

if this is is legitimate question and not a troll..

none-

(assumptions: alterique gilbert is gone...already stated he doesn't want to come back his senior year)

6-7 range in the aac with no crazy additions
4-5 range in the aac if they land Cliff Omoruyi (a top 50 center)

the problem they are taking a step up in league:

bottom 2 as is in the BE
7-8 range with cliff

Where is Gilbert going? So far in his years at UConn he’s been all hype and no show.

He's graduating and planning to play overseas. They have RJ Cole sitting out this year who will take over pg next year.

Pretty clear that Hurley's recruits are the best players on the team. Can't get rid of the Ollie leftover stank soon enough!

Maybe if you guys ask REALLY NICELY the Big East will let you play in THEIR tourney this year. We know money is tight and you’d save a ton on travel, meals and lodging. The team could grab a morning Amtrak in, have your one and done and be gone all in the same day. I think it’s worth asking.

You got the parking garage stats for Fort Worth vs Manhattan? That's all that really matters.

Not much in the way of parking garages in Cowtown bub. Just miles and miles of Texas. I heard your team bus is in the shop anyway. If that's true we can get you a couple of yellow short busses until you can pony up for the mechanic.

Tulane should just start cheating. There is no way we'll find a way to consistently win in the AAC and keep business on the up and up.

We need to study how Marquette and Syracuse win in basketball - and copy it.

Right now, Tulane is on a self imposed tourney ban. I am sure Aresco would LOVE it if we went full cowboy mode.

vital is the most undervalued player in the aac....no one on your team is remotely close to him in toughness or perimeter defense

a ton of uconn fans are calling for him to be benched...i hope it happens ..so it can stop going from close lossses for uconn to blowouts

vital is the only defender i felt contained mills all season...mill for every other game this season i felt he had a good game completely dependent on how he was shooting that night, with little impact from the defense..the 1st half of the uconn game, i was like he is strapping down mills...then he got in foul trouble and mills went nuts

vital's one of the handful of players who appear institutionalized by their institution. seems like he's been around forever. like he was ollie's first recruit or something; and nobody predates alterique

LOL. Who cares about this year? It's done. Best to hope for is an NIT appearance. I'd rather let the young-ins grow with playing time. CV is selfish as hell and a piss poor leader. Truth of the matter is that the best line-up vs Tulsa was Gaff/BAdams/Bouk/Sid/Akok. All with equal or much higher ceilings than the Ollie-spoiled CV.
