RE: @Northeastern
49-17 at half. A forfeit looks better at this point

5-21 with 13 turnovers against 51% shooting for NU. Out-rebounded by 4 as well. Nothing good from that half other than it lasted forever. If we don't take care of the ball we are an unwatchable team. Take care of the ball and we look like a decent team. Amazing to me how we constantly look like we are going through the motions on the road.

RE: @Northeastern
I just got home and saw the score on ESPN.COM. No reason to watch the rest of the game, I guess. So much improvement over the past several weeks and they've reverted back to the same team that's a disaster on the road. I knew that Northeastern would be fired up after losing the the dub, but come on.

RE: @Northeastern
At halftime NU announcers: "Right now we have an intense game of musical chairs. This is more competitive than the game we watched"

I have never heard a more accurate statement

RE: @Northeastern
i held out on the flo sports subscription until after our meeting with a realtor. i saw the halftime score and will continue to save my money.

i don't know what to say. part of me wants to be angry like i used to be. even a decent basketball program doesn't let this happen. the other part understands we're in the middle of a rebuild and still have a young team. spiker has to figure this out...fast. he's not putting a 5'9" point guard out there anymore. lucky for him he has 2 opportunities to prove himself in the next week.

I didn't expect much from this game and I'm still let down. I see a high potential under Spiker but road performance and consistency is still a major question mark.

I just don't understand why we flop so badly on the road. I really don't. However, whatever preparation we do or routine we do, we need to scrap it. The whole thing. Find a completely new approach.

It has been talked about lot and JB has the specific numbers tracked somewhere but...

Full list of road conference wins:
'16-'17: 0
'17-'18: 1 (W&M)
'18-'19: 2 (CofC, Elon)
'19-'20: 1 (JMU)

It also doesn't help that Delaware pulled off a nice road win at Hofstra last night. So just as Northeastern was coming off a tough loss before facing Drexel, Hofstra will be doing the same. It's very unlikely that Hofstra will allow themselves to get swept at home by Delaware/Drexel.

Hofstra I felt like we never were going to have a chance. But them losing to Delaware certainly doesnt help our cause

RE: @Northeastern
again i'm torn between saying "we're coming off a tough loss too so there's no excuse to get beat again" vs. "yeah...we have no chance". a competitive game tomorrow and a win after a week of preparation at delaware isn't asking too much. i watched a fair amount of the hofstra/ud game last night. they seem to have more size across the board...but they are programs we should expect to beat. always have been.

What makes you feel like tomorrow should be competitive after last night's game? I agree we have a chance at Delaware and that will be a season-defining game

Who was saying the spread was too high? Brutal performance! Spiker should kick some butt after that pathetic display. Lack of concentration, lack of effort, etc... I just got Flo recently - have all our road games looked like that?

I clearly stated that the point spread was too high. And that's also why I will NEVER EVER place a sports bet.

4 of them have: SFA, UMBC, Towson, Northeastern.

I thought it was too high and couldn't have been wrong. Others expected a blowout, including Alan Boston

Hofstra and Delaware are garbage. We should always expect to beat them.

Hofstra has been an upper-tier CAA team for some years now. If they are garbage, what does that make the conference as a whole?
