I think Air Force football and VCU is a real possibility by the end of the waiver.

How would someone from Rice know the inner workings of our league?

11 is fine for our Presidents right now.

If it were a CUSA or Sunbelt school they would have been announced by now.

That would mean getting back to 12 FB & BB teams after one season with 11.

Might be possible if the process runs efficiently. A short list of interested & qualified candidates would have to be finalized by April/May. VCU seems like a no-brainer for BB/olympic sports if they're interested.

Why would he be scared? If we do add someone its because ESPN said they add 7 million in value. That would suggest any potential addition is not one of the silly UAB/Georgia St/ODU/Buffalo type suggestions that folks keep tossing about.

The question, of course, isn't just whether or not the Big-12 is going anywhere or doing anything to trigger another realignment.

The larger question is whether any of the P5 conferences will take action by 2025 that would result in the AAC losing some teams.

So - - do you all expect the AAC to be raided or left alone?

Another question: Will UConn be the final AAC team to switch
conferences? We've lost 3 so far (L'ville, RU, & UConn).
