Dude is just so relaxed and makes it look so easy. Best college pure passer I have ever seen.
He looks like a can't miss NFL HOF talent.
I agree with you but it will depend on the offense they surround him with. The kid was a 57% passer last year....
system matters
It matters at every level you play at and a lot of FBS coaches dont get it. They want to run the same system every year. That's great if you recruited players for that system for 3 or more years. But even then that only works for those recruiting at the top level.
Other than those recruiting at the top getting mostly 4s and 5 star players....
recruiting to a system is more important that the star ratings of HS players coming into college. LSU using basically the same talent decides to spread the field with quick slants and outs and it opens up the deep routes.
Short game sets up the long game and in college football...speed kills when you have a qb that can drop a pass on target, into coverage.

it's pretty simple....you find speed/height outside and pay for a line to open up the interior/exterior lanes with a seriously badass TE....just enough on D will be good enough....
that guy can toss it on a dime at 'rate'....like hoops, that's what matters in motion....

My favorite of all the things he has done was coming out on Parents/Seniors Night wearing a jersey with is name spelled "Burreaux." That was a powerful statement about how he has bonded to Louisiana.

Well that is stating the obvious. All QB's need talent and coaching.
I would say protection is more key than anything. Getting sacked 70 times a year will quickly end any career. No matter how talented they are.
He is the best pure passer I have ever seen in college football. Most scouts, coaches and former players say the same thing.

Seems to me Burrow will fit well into any NFL passing scheme, whether its air coryell, west coast, shotgun, pistol or whatever. Anything that focuses on him being a pure passer. You ask 10 different top NFL coaches and you will probably get 4-5 different opinions on what would work best for him. He is good on the quick outs, he is a great deep passer, looks great on the timing routes, moves in and out of the pocket well, has tremendous touch, can throw on the run. He looks great at all of it.
He will probably fit really well into most if not all of those systems.

I'm not an LSU fan by any degree but I'll tell you I was watching their games just to see Joe play. Whomever gets him better take care of him that he doesn't get hurt. He's a boon to any NFL team. I wish the 'boys could get him but that ain't happening. *le sigh*
