Unfortunate that he missed his mother's wedding and his high school graduation. I hope that his NBA dreams/commitments not preclude his attendance at graduation from William & Mary. I think it would mean a lot to his Mom.

The Win Shares season record belongs to Will Thomas, who never won POY. Three of the top seven Win Shares seasons had POY go to a player with fewer Win Shares. Brett Blizzard's 2002-2003 has the most Win Shares by a POY, followed by Hofstra's Justin Wright-Foreman last season and Charles Jenkins in 2010-2011. The top nine were by seniors, and the most Win Shares by a player who wasn't a senior was Riller last season.
