What a great start for Claire in her 1st game w/ significant minutes. Thank you Clempson! Guessing she will grab the bulk of Eleanor's minutes and then some. It'll be an interesting juggling act once Peyton comes back. Lots of interchangeable parts.

Why was this her first game with SM’s? Injury?

Neff originally committed to Clemson this year as a freshmen, went for a week, realized she made a mistake, transferred to JMU, which O’Regan recruited hard out of high school.

She gained eligibility to play this year after Christmas.

Sean basically said that she had so much to learn that it would have been unfair to put her in. Then, in the same interview he said he liked everything about her, that she's working her tail off in practice and putting in extra time studying how our offense and defense flows. She sure made it easy on Coach with today's performance.

Had no idea about her backstory. Glad she made the right decision.

Big series coming up against Delaware. While a sweep would be great, I think a split and competitive in both games would be a positive outcome for the Women's team heading into March.

What a game for Claire Neff! Welcome to Harrisonburg, Claire! She may be able to hit those 3s, but she also showed she is also not a one-trick pony. We are so lucky to have her. Clemson's loss...heh heh heh.

And a nice game for several others...Kiki, Anne Diouf, Maddie, Rayne, Jaylin, to name a few. I hope Maddie's apparently twisted ankle is not serious enough to keep her out of the Delaware series. And I do hope Peyton is back soon.

One observation about Karen Barefoot and UNCW. She finished running ODU into the ground after Wendy Larry started the job and it doesn't look like she's doing much better at UNCW. Doormats of the league. Even CoC is looking better than them this year.

FWIW, just noticed in the press release previewing this weekend's double dip with league-leading Delaware at home Sat & Sun (6pm both nights) that the Sunday game will be televised via MyValley TV for those in the Valley. Yaaaaaay!
