I have been to 3 or 4 MAC stadiums, and they are all equally bad. All drab, all concrete and absolutely no character. It would be hard to tell them apart without signage.

I really liked Toledo's stadium. Reminded me of nippert.
Akron's old stadium was legion field bad
Yeager is fine. Tailgate setup is great.

You're not allowed to say that.

They had our assistant coaches sitting in the upper concourse walkway with a Wal Mart tent serving as their coaches' box.
Yeah, it was so bad. I think they've made some improvements since 2011 at least. 2011 FIU remains probably my worst overall UCF football experience. Even worse than USF 2007 simply due to the stadium alone.
Unfortunately, that was probably our apex

Hah, maybe so far. But I'm sure this new coach will do his best to right the ship. You always get amazing skill athletes it seems. Only a matter of time before a coach can put that together and sustain success through a conference schedule.

How many games are played in Legion Field a year now ??
All the UAB home games, a couple of high school games, the classic along with the bowl game. Somewhere in the ball park of 10 give or take a few.

I'd argue they're pretty much the exact same stadium, just one has a budget for renovation/maintenance and one doesn't
However, EMU, Ball State, old Akron, and Northern Illinois are all TERRIBLE stadiums.

RE: Worst stadium you've ever been in
I was hanging with an Auburn fan this weekend and he was telling me Auburn fans just wish Legion Field was leveled to the ground because it's a complete dump and embarrassment.
I thought it was a Dump when I visited a few years ago in the Birmingham Bowl against Auburn. All it needed was a track surrounding the field like a HS stadium.

Vandy for me. Worst stadium given what they could afford to have in my opinion.

How long ago was this? RFK was destroyed when Magneto used it to create a ring around the White House in the mid-70's

RE: Worst stadium you've ever been in
Only been to one away game and it was at Ohio State. It's definitely not a bad stadium but it's definitely not as nice as you would think.
Upper deck is extremely steep
Pretty subpar concessions
The concourses are dimly lit and narrow for the amount of people.
Way too few restrooms. Restrooms were absolutely destroyed by halftime and I'm sure the urinals and stalls were overflowing with piss and it was leaking into the concourses. Which leads me to this point:
The concourses smelled like ****. Reeked like piss and someone had microwaved old, ****** fish.
Pretty ****** video board/ribbons/stat boards.
Also not as great of an atmosphere as you'd think with 100K people in the stands.

Legion Field gets my vote. Partly this is because of their green hot dogs. I bought one my first trip there, took one look, and dumped it in the trash.

Travel to Knoxville, TN if you land a home and away game deal with UT. Neyland Stadium Church is Worship Service in Knoxville.
Car dealerships float orange and white balloons. I was literally flipped the Birdie at an intersection by someone's dear sweet Grandmother because we were wearing Memphis gear in Knoxville.

Hate to say it because of the historical context, but World War Memorial Stadium in Greensboro, NC. Built in 1926 was the home of Minor League Baseball in Greensboro until 2005 when the new stadium was built down town. At the end there was a big debate about renovating or building a new stadium. Thankfully the new stadium was built. The stadium is currently the home to Greensboro College and NC A&T's baseball teams.

In no particular order:
War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock
Vanderbilt's stadium
Vaught-Hemingway stadium, home for the Ole Miss Rebels/Black Bears/Landsharks. They spent millions and millions upgrading it a number of years ago and the end result was like putting lipstick on a pig.
Legion Field
Utk Vols stadium haven't been in years and years, but last time I was there in the upper deck, I was looking down on clouds, no joke.

RFK in Washinton DC when the Owls Played UCLA in the Military Bowl. Place was a sh!thole.

Old Cardinal stadium at the KY Fairgrounds in Louisville. I'd have to say it was worse than Legion Field in Birmingham.
