I am quite certain that some around here drink 24/7. After all as we used to say at tournament time in Richmond - if you don't drink when you first get up in the morning, you can't say you've been drinking all day! Cheers!

RE: Coaching speculation
Ease up fellas. We already have a coach now.

I do feel for the previous UNCW staff that we had and hope that they land on their feet. It's a tough business to be in because you can be doing a good job at that level and still lose your job. That's the bad part of it.

Lol. What???

Yeah. I do hope the previous bunch lands on their feet. Even McGrath.

RE: Coaching speculation
McGrath is too nice a guy not to wish him the best. Apparently HC is not his niche. But I'm sure he will do just fine as an assistant coach and recruiter.
I believe Burke stock has risen and will continue to rise. It won't be too long before he is a HC somewhere. He's a players coach and a very good basketball strategist.
I watched Manuel work one on one with some of the players. He'll land on his feet just fine.
And Esleek is another rising star. He can recruit. And I believe Burke allowed more input from him than McGrath did.
If Burke had gotten the job, I believe we would have been just fine with that existing staff plus one.

I could see that happpening. Rob seems like a pretty intense guy. Never know how a head coach sees that though.

That would be great for the league. We need heated rivalries again and some true animosity (whether from players or coaches).

Yeah, that would add to it for sure. With both having UNCW ties. I know if that happened and I'm Burke i'd want nothing more than to beat UNCW(but i'm spiteful)

I REALLY like this hire. Reading about Monty Sanders mid major experience at Elon and WCU and his recruiting prowess seems like a perfect fit. He stands out as a future HC. Plus, working for the son of the Late Great Skip Prosser is a huge plus in my book!

If all goes to plan and Siddle is very successful, Sanders becomes our next coach a la Wainwright to Brownell.

That is unless Jimmy screws it up again...

Good to see Craig on the staff. He’s on my screen saver taking it hard to Grayson Allen in the Big Dance. He stepped up big in the CAA final and hit 2 big 3 balls to get us back and to eventually win the game. He’s a perfect fit for this program right now and knows the system well.
