It’s hard to beat a home team that makes 15 three pointers.
I’m impress we only lost by 5 without Nowell.

Hard to get to discouraged. If we have Marques we win. They shot lights out and we hung around.

RE: Troy thread
Great game, LR-Trojans. I expected a good game. Troy is better than their record indicates. A lot of youth on this team (only 1 senior), and it has shown mentally. We had buzzer beater losses to UAB and Chattanooga, and were beating Texas A&M with just 4 minutes left in the game until we mentally came apart.

I think Cross is finally starting to get the players mentally tough, and finding chemistry. Our slashing of Coastal Carolina, and our easy road win at Texas State and now win over Little Rock may be signs that Cross has the ship sailing in the right direction.

Troy is good enough to win the Sun Belt, yet young and inconsistent enough to finish last place.

No doubt we win with Markquis. But, to be fair, Troy was playing without their big man who averages 11 points and 6 rebounds.

RE: Troy thread
You won't win many games in which you have 16 turnovers and allow the other team to make 15 3-pointers.

New guys weren't a huge factor. Maric had 6 points and 4 rebounds, but he also turned the ball over 5 times in the 17 minutes he played. That will get better.

You are right. I read a similar post on troy message board. Cross is a good coach and when your guys are feeling it you will be hard to beat. See you in Little Rock.

Ditto. Nothing against the new coach, just against their idiot AD.
