temple is like us they are a dreadful shooting team...they dont know how to beat the zone..and tulsa runs a zone the entire game... temple the 2ndd worst shooting team in the league took 25 3s vs tulsa, because they didnt know how to drive..

was curios if we'd switch to zone cause they were so horrible vs the zone last game, but we stuck to man... surprising is that temple (a man team, switched to zone against us)

they need to address the zone if they want to avoid tulsa like games

Nate Hinton is also a guard. Averaging 15 and 15 through two conference games. Averaging around 13 and 10 on the season.

I’m just talking from an effort perspective. There were many games the past couple of years when Temple came out flat. No energy. It looked that way to me against Tulsa as well. They’re too talented to be blown out on the road. It’s an energy thing with Temple. A lot of that comes from the guy who should be their leader, Quinton Rose.

also like 5 players are averaging almost a double double...that wont get him POY.. especially when the front runner is doing something similar (precious achiuwa)

interesting is that houston has a rotating door on who our "star player" is..at some point its been 5 different players this season...grimes was likely favorite for POY like 3 weeks ago

Gardner won't win it even if he keeps this pace up, but he's getting better and slowly developing a little bit of a 3 point shot.

Haha. Great response. Very possible that the Huskies finish last in conference this season. ECU is trending up. UCONN trending way down. Their program is comical right now.

I thought Temple and Houston both looked like legit NCAA teams. Memphis @ Wichita should be a fun AAC Top 25 match up tomorrow, I doubt it's the last one.

houston is arguably the best rebounding team in the nation..

Houston had a +22 rebounding margin and only won by 4 ..think about that.. any respectable margin and you guys probably win tonight

you have to figure out how to beat zone teams...and your rebounding has to improve vs the elite teams...beyond those 2 issues i see an ncaa team..

and i think both issues are solveable enough that you can get atleast "good enough" at those 2 areas to compete for an atlarge...

a positive is only tulane and tulsa run zone as their default defense...and few teams rebound like houston

i just noticed this now but Temple and Houston's best 2 players are both guards named Quentin (Quinton) and Nate
