Big early season match up.

In FSUs 2 losses they had a massive free throw disadvantage and was ice cold from behind the 3. Don’t do those things and the good guys got a chance.

Really fun game so far. FSU sees Louisville’s Jordan Nwora and raises them an MJ Walker. Noles on top at the half.

Highlights

Lots of aggressive plays in the 2nd half resulting in TO’s and fouls. The game has lost some of its flow as buckets seem to be harder come by. FSU by 8 with 12:05 left.

Good game. FSU shot better than usual. Rocky Balboa wins this heavy weight fight.

Congrats FSU. I think all of the below are true:

-FSU got a major resume win at Louisville today.
-UofL has serious issues to work on, but will still rack up ACC wins in a weak conference this season
-Combo of way below average D performance from UofL (top 5 KenPom D) and lights out shooting from Noles. Every team has 2-3 games in 35 game season where you can’t hit anything and 2-3 games where you can’t miss. Firmly believe there aren’t 3 teams, if any in country, that are beating FSU when they hit 55% FG and 11-23 from deep.
-Impressive coaching performance from Hamilton again. Lost a lot and has young team playing well

FSU played a great game, hats off. They hit the big shots & made the Cards a 1 man team. Hamilton is an excellent coach & runs a classy program, I have nothing but respect for him.

FSU deserved to win that game, they played very well.

This was a weird stretch for the Cards. 1 game in 17 days, before playing Florida State. It seemed to me, that we have lost the rhythm we had found before the long lay off.

But the way FSU shot the ball, I don't know if it would have ultimately mattered. The Noles were en fuego.

Unusually good shooting night. M.J. Walker may have found himself coming off the bench, though I doubt he does that too many times. He is a former 5 star and very athletic, just needs a better handle on the basketball.

Trent Forest was equally amazing. Put him on UNC and that whole team is probably is undefeated.

I like Hamilton and FSU. Had Kabengele stayed, I think national title, although you still have an outside shot at it.

This year, there are like 20 teams that could win it all.

Fun fact: Leonard Hamilton is the only coach to win the Big East and ACC coach of the year and he did it twice.
