Defense has been impressive the past 2 games. Not letting Hofstra or NE get many easy layups and forcing them to take jump shots and making sure the good shooters (i.e., Buie, Roland, Walker) are closely guarded and playing off the weaker shooters so they can give help D. Very, very impressed.

Just need to fix the god awful stupid passes that result in turnovers. I would guess 1/3 of NE's points have come in transition off turnovers. We have absolutely shut them down in their halfcourt offense

Northeastern has 20 points off those turnovers.

Turnovers .... man ... take care of the ball!

When they double team the dribbler somebody has to be open. Really bad spacing over the last few possessions.

Goes to the point I said in another thread. This is not a very good team until they can show consistency. It's not a complete surprise if we win by 15 or lose by 15 to anyone in the CAA.

Something worth monitoring is the return of Thornton Scott. The majority of games that I recall us looking good in, Thornton was in the lineup. Is it a coincidence that an uptick in play corresponded with his return to the court?
