Which men's team? The MBB team was/is in Charleston.

Agree on Hodgson's falling down. She's too good of a player to do that kind of stuff. She's deadly from outside the arc. Can't ever leave her alone. We did that too often and she hurt us. I think we'll do better the next time (and perhaps again in the CAAT) we face them.

Maybe they were practice players then. Or alumni. They sure knew the players.

If the official is the muscle building Adonis wanna-be, I totally agree, it's obvious his biggest muscle is the one between his ears.

The team worked hard in the second half to widen the lead to a misleading final score as the game was close for a long time. W&M passes the ball so well, one possession they passed the ball 8 straight times with no dribbling, ball movement leads to a lot of assists. Hodgson is so good, IMO, "limiting" her to 20 points was a challenge.

Yep that is him. I think I posted earlier this season that he cut me off twice on University Boulevard coming to one of the first games. He thinks he is the bee's knees....but he is not. His male partner was even worse - at least the woman ref had a brain.

William and Mary has the potential to do some real damage in the CAA this year. They have some very good shooters and are quick. This was a great way to start the conference play.

I think we sat next to each other last night. I recommended that you should’ve rear-ended him :)

It wasn't defense. It was on offense, when she made a shot. It was like she wanted a foul called on the defender. To me it looked like pure showboating, because she wasn't shooting off balance. We were sitting 3 rows off the court and just about under W&M's first half basket so could see very clearly. She's too good a player to pull that kind of stunt.

I was referencing the girl playing defense while Maddie was trying to run out the clock. You referred to that as a “trick” as well.

And I stand by what I said. She wasn't playing defense, she was clearly trying to steal, and it was very bush league and IMO poor sportsmanship. You lost, let it go.

Isn't that kind of what you are supposed to do on defense, try to steal the ball. Sure the game was over but there is always stuff to work on......short of trying to injure someone it is just basketball.

I mean at what point are both teams just supposed to dribble out the shot clock back and forth as the game is over?

Love how when I say it's not any sort of "trick" to play defense and steal the ball when there's still time on the clock, you say "YES IT IS". I mean, what kind of opinion is that? Maybe be less defensive and more open-minded. Just because you're old as dirt doesn't make you right all the time. Which reminds me of a WBB question. Who is the most entitled/arrogant WBB fanbase? UConn or Tennessee?

Well, speaking of not allowing someone to express and opinion, you did write this little ditty: “ You lost, let it go” ... and then you came in with this awesome conversation starter: “sor-REE”

o-to-p isn't great at understanding what other people say, but also bad at making it clear who she is referencing too.

In this case, "You lost, let it go" was intended for the player trying to steal from Maddie Green, but yeah it sure did read like it was directed at another poster. Some people just never learn to proof-read what they write for clarity.

Oh, my bad. Makes sense I suppose. I filtered that quote through her body of message board work.

Ease up guys - if only we all had good seats so we could actually see the game. Apparently my seats aren't close enough to be able to see what's happening.

Some people are just better at watching WBB! Step your donor game up Deez so you can get those fire GA seats near the ramp.
