Yeah, my feelings are still hurt from that loss. Even though we struggled in the last 2ish minutes today, the team didn't allow the game to get away from them like against Western. I think we will at least be in the conversation for Pod 1. Gotta learn to close out good teams though.

Both teams got stops in the final minutes. That could be a sign of both being good defensively as the season goes forward.

LOL!! That's the first thing I thought of when the buzzer sounded. I immediately thought of that stupid post from the Marshall fan earlier this week.

It's stark reminder to us all to not get too caught up in one win, no matter who you beat, or how well you played.

I wouldn't say that. Not at all. UNT led the game pretty much the whole way. In fact, UNT was leading as the teams were closing in on halftime, until Marshall hit the 3-pointer from the parking lot at the halftime buzzer.

Marshall had a problem today, we actually played someone with a pulse.

Charlotte up 17 on MT at halftime. Our defense continuing to be our hallmark. We turned it over a lot early but have settled in a bit, which allowed us to build the lead. MT’s defense is good and frustrating for us on offense when they stick to their game plan and don’t foul.

I watched much of your game today. Both Marshall and NT looked improved from last season. I was impressed with the team athleticism of NT and I think they will be in this thing throughout the conference season. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised to seem them as one of the teams in Pod 1 come late February. NT has a lot of very agile, quick players and your center is a handful with the way he moves around the basket. Congrats on getting a nice road win today.

LA Tech is ahead by 11 with about 11m in left in the game. But this may be the sloppiest, poorest shooting --both free throws and FG percentage-- that I've ever seen. I've never seen Tech miss this many layups. Dayum!

Thanks. I was high on NT last year, and we tanked. Some of that was due to injuries, but we still tanked. I like Geu. I think he could have a special season. UNT need to learn how to close out games. If we can do that, than maybe we might be in the 1st pod. But, I have not seen enough of the other C-USA teams to claim anything right now. It is very early in conference play and anything can happen.

LA Tech has missed at least 7 or 8 layups in this game today. The play is very sloppy.
