Defense seems to be optional everywhere the last 5 years. I guess it goes in cycles. Seems like all the b teamers are 9n defensenl.

Let's assume Babers' job is safe and this isn't about Ivin Jasper getting a HC job.
And if Babers is the HC, let's assume it isn't anyone on the offensive side.

Defense...new DC Newberry was a Broyles award semifinalist. But in his first year up from Kenesaw State...co-DC Norwood has more experience.
Norwood has returned to Navy to be co-DC for his Radford HS best friend. After livung the nomadic coaching life, pretty happy to have come home to Annapolis.
Maybe a cool million will more than double his salary and be enough...
