The costs of winning in the Non-Cartel is the loss of your best coaches to teams in the Cartel-5. Tennessean reports that La Tech's O.C. Todd Fitch is headed to Vandy.

A bigger loss is our DC to Purdue.

And, that further confirms my point. The key is replacing what you lose. But, it's a real compliment to your program if you can do it. Some of us haven't been very successful in pulling that rabbit out of our hats.

Yeah, I reported that here on this forum a couple of days ago. 07-coffee3

LA Tech lost its' DC, Bob Diaco, to Purdue, too. Of the two coaches, Diaco is the one Tech fans hate to see leave the most. He was very well liked, and took Tech's defense to a higher level this year.

Tech fans don't like OC Todd Fitch so much. We should easily get an upgrade in that spot. Not sure what Vandy saw in him.

Didn't know about your DC. But, regarding the OC, looks like Vandy is gonna abandon the Pro Set and go to a Spread Offense. Your guy knows more about the spread than anybody the Dores have.
