With the university closed over the holidays I doubt this will get much updating until after the 6th but there will assuredly be a ton. Checking the Alumni facebook group may be useful too to find alumni in your area if there is a not a chapter.

If anyone in the Northern Virginia area is looking for a place to watch, I will be going to a new restaurant in Ashburn called the Wicked Door Pub. It's owned by a former co-worker of mine, who is a JMU grad. It'd be great to have a few brews, great food, cheer on the Dukes as we get that 3rd championship, AND support a JMU grad/small business owner.

Looks like we've had a lot of additions over the last week or so. Great to see.

Expecting this list to grow significantly over the next few days.

Several more locations in Virginia posted today. A little surprised nothing listed for Richmond yet.

Do they ever consider opening up Bridgeforth and showing on the big screen? Could isolate fans to one area and make money off concessions. Also something they can consider once the new arena is finished.

Most of the athletics staff will be in Texas, and watch parties don't actually draw well at the stadium. I was thinking the club level, but you may be talking about the entire facility, which they'd have to rent game staff for and would almost certainly lose money - especially when the beer runs out in the 1st quarter 04-cheers

There will definitely be one at Gus's - I've seen that advertised on Facebook, I'm sure there will be more - Kregger's in Mechanicsville and Wood & Iron in Midlothian usually host one.

You’re right about most of the personnel being in Frisco, and I was specifically thinking about containing it to say the a Club Section. I don’t think so much about turning a profit as I think about providing an area for Dukes that can’t make the trip to celebrate together. Again, maybe next year when the arena is complete it would be something they would consider. I’ve been to watch parties such as that and they were successful.

I'm thinking next year JMU could use The Vault as the watch party location. Just make sure we have enough beer for halftime.

For those EVA Dukes on way to or in Frisco enjoy yourselves. We did when our Dukes played YSU.

Looking for feedback on best of the RVA Watch Party establishments. Been to Jack Brown's for brunch but never to watch a game. Unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to go to Gus's before tomorrow potentially.

Jack Browns is small and only has two TV's, wouldn't want to watch the game there.

I'd suggest Gus', the GM is a JMU alum and makes sure it's on multiple TV's. They typically have a pretty big crowd for the biggest games as well.
