I just saw the ratings for Appalachian State's bowl game...The champs' ESPN prime time (9 eastern) game on a Saturday night, vs another conference runner up brought in 963k viewers. At least that was an uptick from the leadin SunBelt CUSA Camellia Bowl at 692k.

Ouch.

They're probably over here cuz they need hugs...

Liberty and Coastal Carolina had 2.62 million viewers. If the Sun Belt added Liberty and UAB, they could be approaching the AAC. At least in football. Of course, Liberty's athletic budget is equal to an AAC team right now and they would help the AAC get stronger in all sports.

Go to the main AAC board.

Search for SLHNavy and case for the p6. He has a running total of viewership numbers, including averages overall, games over a million, games over 2m, over 3m, etc. All broke down by conference control (who gets paid for the game). You could put together the best 14 teams from the SB and CUSA and throw in Liberty's numbers too. You would still be behind the MW by just a bit and still quite a long ways from us. Probably about the distance we are from the B16, a little less than what seperated the AAC from the SEC.
