And Ohio is getting worked by Purdue. Not much shame in that, but I was hoping to see a competitive game.

Edit: Ohio back within 9. Looking a lot better in the 2nd half.

Too many turnovers (and poor shooting) in the first half lead to a 20 point halftime deficit. Eventually cut it to 6 in the second but couldn’t get closer and ended up losing by 18. Purdue shot 6-35 from 3 on Sunday at Nebraska, but shot 6-10 early to build that lead. Time to get healthy and get ready for the last 2 OOC games.

Interesting stat mentioned on the broadcast... Ohio ranks 353 out of 353 teams in free throw defense. Opponents are making 82.1% of their attempts against the Bobcats. Haha Guess they need to work harder on their lane trash talk.

this is a big deal for the guys' confidence. hopefully they can build off of that. our youth and inexperience definitely showed in the first half, but it was great to see them keep fighting in the second half.

I cut cable a few years back. It's great that I can get ESPN+ for $60/yr. I was paying more than that for just one month of cable.

65-47 and that score is misleading. GT scored some garbage time baskets or it would have been 30+ points. Tech was shockingly bad. Bricking open shots, sloppy turnovers, matador defense. It was a mismatch. I have no idea what Pastner is trying to do down there. Ball St. embarrassed them in just about every way.

Run out the clock on NCAA penalties he caused by allowing a sociopath into the program (in progress), clean up the books and stop paying Hewitt and Gregory not to coach (done), have Memphis pay half his salary a few of those years (sadly now done), and be replaced by the new AD and President which both appear to be light years ahead of the program killers that were there when Pastner was hired. Pray for Purdue ... they have the GT AD that hired Pastner now. It was the Pastner hire that got out the pitchforks and sent him running for the hills.

Ball State led by 30 with 2:35 to play when they emptied the bench at Georgia Tech.

Buffalo covered in beating Niagara. Miami topped Bradley in Oxford. Kent slid by Hampton... by 39.

Toledo fell at home to Wright State while Akron lost to now 14-0 Liberty.

Some pretty tough losses tonight too. Green Bay beat NIU in DeKalb, Quinnipiac beats BG, Eastern losing by 53 (even if it was to Michigan State). Ohio almost added to that list but escaped with a 6 point win against Morehead State.

BG didn’t just lose to a bad Quinnipiac team, they also lost to a horrid Norfolk State team the night before. To say the least, BG is feeling the effects of Justin Turner’s injury, especially when Frye has been so hot and cold with his shooting lately. However, Plowden looks to be turning into a sort of smaller version of Richaun Holmes, continuing to display his crazy athleticism while demonstrating a great shooting touch. So some positives to take out of this recent crap run: Plowden has gotten the chance to show he has all-MAC talent, and I suppose if a team is going to slump, this is the time of the season to do it.

Miami's win over Bradley was our best win and one of the best MAC wins this year.
