We all knew OU had no defense, but their offense looks hopeless against a pedestrian LSU defense. I still don't get how LSU jumped over OSU in the final ranking to get the gift of OU instead of Clemson. It's not like the Buckeyes struggled to beat Wisconsin to win the Big10 championship.

Ohio State struggled in the first half and was losing to Wisconsin at halftime of the Big 10 championship. LSU handled a higher ranked team in Georgia the entire 60 minutes.

Yes, he was at the game and coaching in the booth. Not sure he was fully engaged and looked, understandably, somewhat shellshocked. LSU has another younger coach that also calls plays (focusing on passing plays), which seemed to work out fine for the Tigers.

Difficult situation for the Ensminger and McCord families. My condolences.

Wonder if Oklahoma fires their DC. They looked terrible especially representing the Big 12.

I thought the OU defense looked quite typical of the Big 12.

Hard fought game between Clemson and Ohio State. Clemson prevails 29-23. Both teams got pretty beat up. We’ll see if the SC Tigers can get healthy enough to stay on the field with the LA Tigers. Should be an interesting championship game.

Every single call by the SEC refs went to Clemson. Two overturned TDs and a ridiculous targeting call which, together, resulted in a 17-point swing toward Clemson.

Doesn't matter if it's Clemson or Ohio State - LSU will destroy either team.

Maybe we could turn this around and say that Rice looked like
- OU
- Georgia
- Texas A&M
when we played LSU last year 03-wink

LSU starts 3 seniors on offense and 2 on defense. Yes, they lose Burrow and will lose several underclass studs to the draft (Jefferson and Delpit for sure) - it will be interesting to see how their other receivers and defensive stars are viewed as high enough draft prospects whether or not to declare early for the draft.

Pretty good reporting on the situation.

RE: OT: 2019-20 Bowl Games
WKU beat WMU 23-20 yesterday with a 52-yard field goal after time expired. With the clock running out, WKU surprised WMU by deciding to run a passing play instead of attempting a field goal. WMU had to quickly swap the special teams for defense, and one player couldn't make it to the sideline before the ball was snapped. The 5-yard penalty moved the ball to just inside WKU kicker Munson's range.
