Kevin Roy
The Panthers traded F Kevin Roy to the Penguins.

It would be nice to see him on the same line with Zach Aston-Reese.

Also Cayden Primeau got sent back to the minors. Montreal doesn't have any back-to-back games for a while. No need to sit on the bench.

RE: Kevin Roy
Kevin Roy, one of Madigan's first big gets as head coach. I believe we secured him after Johnny Gaudreau and John Gillies decommitted when Cronin left. I believe then we had an extra goalie slot which allowed us to bring in his brother too. He was fast, and for a little while our main source of scoring. Won Beanpot MVP but never got a title. Was one of 5 players from the 2016 HE title team that would play some games in the NHL. Hoping he gets some more in Pittsburgh.

NU got both Kevin and Derrick Roy from Brown after they decommitted.

His commitment to NU saved the program in a sense.

We also had Garrett Haar and Justin Kovacs who rescinded around the same time and opted for Western Michigan.

Roy played well last year when he got called up to Anahiem, scoring 6 goals.
