Transfers that Not graduate have to sit out a year. And that’s not a very good decision short term

That's not true. Non-grad players can transfer and apply for a waiver

nice plug.

So far Houston's strength has been in their transfers every year.
we have had some of the best in their positions.
one player i look forward to in 2 years is the QB Sofian Massoud. if you do a youtube of him you can feel the passion he has for the sport.

This is Holgs MO...if you look at his time at WVU, all the QB's Holgs ended up using were transfers: Trickett from FSU, Grier from Florida, etc...

NCAA is approving less and less of the waivers. But yes you can take a transfer and hope they can play but its not a foregone conclusion

Temple got a local transfer WR from Georgia Tech. I’m sure we’ll apply for a waiver.

We just got a local track star who committed to Temple over a track scholarship at Texas. Runs in the high 4.3s to low 4.4s range. Will probably play CB and hopefully return kicks.

Waiting on our top RB recruit who has like 11 major offers.

UConn transfers may get some NCAA sympathy since UConn is leaving a conference affiliation for FB.

Tulsa is looking at signing the highest rated class in Coach Monty's tenure (per 247 Sports).

Bonus: We just signed a SCHOLARSHIP PLACE KICKER!

NICE! These are the types of battles I love the AAC winning. SMU is building a beast.

Any of the the UCF guys know about Mike Smith?

He flipped to App from UCF this morning. Did you cool on him or sign a big time Safety?

Apparently he went to signing day in a UCF jacket and put an App hat on, which is the kind of cold blooded move I can get down with! 03-lmfao

ECU edges out Tulsa for a last-minute signing day surprise. 04-cheers

Henry Garrison - 6'7" 275lbs - DE - Nassau CC
[Image: 9559862.jpeg]

"East Carolina picked up a much-needed commitment and some immediate help from the junior college ranks along the defensive line heading into signing day.

Henry Garrison, a 6-foot-7, 270-pound defensive end from Nassau Community College in New York, has committed to ECU and signed Wednesday.

Garrison picked up scholarship offers from Tulsa and East Carolina in a span of three days in early December and visited both schools this past week. Garrison, originally from Palisades, N.Y., made his last visit to ECU on Sunday.

Garrison actually played quarterback and tight end earlier in his football career, only to gain 50-plus pounds and be moved to the defensive side of the ball in junior college. Garrison originally attended Tappan Zee high School in New York before winding up at Nassau. The defensive lineman doesn’t have the biggest junior college stat line, but his film is impressive. He can move for a long, rangy defensive end, and his combination of athleticism and size make him a potential difference-maker. Garrison has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

He becomes the seventh defensive line commit of the Pirates’ 2020 recruiting class, and the second junior college recruit at the position, joining Louisburg defensive lineman Elijah Robinson."

He had been dropped to make way for Davonte Brown out of Miami who just chose UCF.

And Justin Hodges, who chose UCF over Miami, Washington State, Indiana, and Minnesota.

UCF commit Mike Wright flips to Vandy, apparently because of playing time.

Well academics was a factor, but it was 80% because of playing time. Multiple sources have confirmed this. He would have to sit behind Dillon Gabriel for 3 years, and Mack is going to be the backup for at least 1 more year.

C. Austin Cox @C_Austin_Cox
For the second year in a row, UConn Football's recruiting class is ranked below an FCS program (per 247). On top of that, Huskies currently have 20+ players in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

RE: Football Recruiting Thread
All of our commits have now signed, unless there is a surprise or two left we're on to filling the last 2 spots with likely transfers. Smaller class this year, as we are losing 32 players next year and will likely have a much larger class then, paired with the 8 transfers we took in this past season.
