Nice for the conference to have 8 bowl games this year.

So, are you happy with your bowl matchup?

For Marshall, I think this is probably the best possible matchup we could have gotten.

No love from either fanbase. Charlotte trolls take note: the UCF troll game is very strong.

Uab is going to get boatraced. Uab was 4th in the east alone.

RE: 2019 CUSA bowl matchups, dates and times
For the Marshall vs UCF game... something has got to give.

Marshall is 7-0 in their last seven bowl games.
Marshall's last bowl loss was in 2004.

UCF is 8-0 in their last Marshall vs UCF matchups.
Marshall's last win against UCF was in 2004.

WEIRD

It's time to put aside the hate and support our conference mates IMHO.

Sure, the East was good, but I think it's time to support.

Ok this rhetoric is getting old. If y'all don't want UAB to get the spotlight then bow up and beat our asses. Otherwise, just STFU, support your phucking school, and go win your damn bowl game.

Damn, WKU beat us (barely) and you're still not phucking happy.

RE: 2019 CUSA bowl matchups, dates and times
I like our opponent (Tulane) and the date (Jan 4) but not fond of the location (Fort Worth). Would have preferred it to have been in Birmingham, Shreveport or even New Orleans but not 500+ miles/8 hours away in Fort Worth. I guess it’s better than New Mexico or the Bahamas.

Personally, Would’ve preferred the Camellia bowl in Montgomery vs Arkansas St to face our former OC Blake Anderson as we would probably have a better crowd but considering FIU and Tulane played week 1 the bowls probably didn’t want a rematch.

Not ever a close bowl game for WKU in this set up. When is new MRytle Beach bowl, next season? That would be a good bowl game...Wish WKU would be in play for New Orleans one of these days, but that seems like a long shot...

Exciting lineup this season. We'll have our hands full. No doubt. SMU - App State would have been a great game. I wish more of these games were free of contractual obligations. A lot of times, the matchups suffer because of it. FAU - UCF would've been nice to see.

It might’ve turned into a blow-out. Say, ... 48-14?

Frankly, that was a different FAU team. Something clicked later in the season.

On the surface, only Western looks like a favorite. Could be a brutal bowl season for the league. Playing solid programs though. My Herd will get stomped.

"WMU athletic teams were once known as the Hilltoppers, a reference to the school's location on top of Prospect Hill, but changed their nickname in 1939 to the Broncos to avoid confusion with teams of other schools such as the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers."

I can't make the trip, but should be a fun game, and a good destination for fans of the two Westerns. Went to our Cotton Bowl there in Dallas in 2016 and had a good time around the city.
