That Wyoming defense is insane. The Cowboys might only need 17 or so points to win this one.

GSU. I just don't know anything about Wyoming to call it, but will pull for the Panthers to win. Conference standings matter.
WYO’s head coach went to 4 FCS title matches and won 3 straight FCS titles in his last four years at NDSU and his teams were always hard nosed and disciplined. They’re 7-5 in the MWC. Just going off their record and what I know of their coach as well as a banged up QB I would expect this to be a close loss the panthers and the conference.

Normally, any team that can pass well scares me to death. Their passing attack is about on par with Troy and Arkansas State, however you have to wonder how much those numbers are padded based on the schedule they played. Two FCS teams, NMSU twice, and UMass. Even with that schedule, they've still let up 4.7 YPC. I see Southern giving up a couple of deep shots early, but controlling the clock the majority of the game with long sustained drives.
As a Liberty fan, our passing attack honestly depends on which Buckshot shows up. He had a great game against BYU, but he struggled mightily against ULL & UVA.
If the wrong version of Buckshot shows up, not only do we not win, but we watch as Southern goes up by 4 touchdowns. If the right version shows up, it comes down to whose defense tires first, & it's a one possession game.
Looking forward to this game, & hoping it's at least a competitive matchup for all who tune in & show up!

Doesn't help that they continue to play Ellington. We saw what happens when a Brad Glenn offense has an injured, formerly mobile, quarterback and they continue to start him. Armanti playing injured rarely worked out. Ellington playing injured is providing the same result.
Wyoming might win by 28.

And offensively, Wyoming has the 5th most rush attempts in the country, and they do it well. State's rush defense is....lackluster to say it kindly. Just a match up nightmare for them.
