ESPN predicts a 60.8% chance that Georgia Southern wins.

Last I heard it was like 2500 but that was a while back. Some GS fans are saying the bowl has sold a total of a little over 20k so far.

What number should we be looking for? How many tix did LU get? I can’t go but did buy two tix through the school to be donated to military or donated to another. I feel like I did my part as best as possible.

Am I wrong to have hoped for 7,000 for our first ever bowl game... and in sunny warm Orlando?

Honestly, I think a lot of fans are unaware of purchasing through the school, especially with it being our first bowl game.

Plus, while it may be the Saturday before Christmas, that's still pretty close to Christmas when a lot of people are going home to their families or doing last-minute shopping.

I think it's just creating an imperfect storm.

Georgia Southern has sold 5k tickets so far and has a goal of selling 3k more by Saturday. I also know of several students and younger alums who have preferred to get their tickets from Stubhub (cheapest tickets through GS are $45 and cheapest tickets on Stubhub are $17). An Eagle fan who claims to be "close to the numbers" has said that the Cure Bowl has sold over 20k tickets so far all together. I'm expecting GS to have around 10k there.

Liberty got 5k to sell. I think we will sell that and should have a nice crowd on hand. I predicted awhile back that there would be 21k in attendance and I’m sticking with that.

Good to see the Sun Belt board hasn't changed. I want to beat their LU-hating, arrogant selves so bad. We'll see what happens on game day but their fans hatred towards us makes it hard to cheer for them whenever we aren't playing them.

24 Liberty
38 Ga. Southern

But golly I’m hoping for the bowl win.

I believe the spread is GSU by 5 and the over under is 57.

I know you guys are new to FBS but to be at this level you really should have a uniform thread. Just another part of the fun.

I hate to say it, but unless the D looks more like they did against Syracuse, this is going to be a bad one based on the type of O GSU runs.

I'm saying Liberty 37, GA Southern 58.

Game day! Historical game for us whether we win or not.

Side note: I can't stand when teams do stuff like change their jersey colors for a game because it looks so unnatural. Georgia Southern is using special helmets for the game. I totally get supporting breast cancer awareness and other causes but the jerseys and gear (NFL especially) looks so out of place and unattractive.
