I’m not sure it can happen but I voted 35+. There is a number the committee would say is enough.

I don't know if it'd take 35. I think if it was 38-14 I just can't picture the committee taking Ohio St then over Wisconsin.

Force turnovers and clean up the penalties to make it a scintillating 35-10 game.

There has never been a 2 loss team in the playoffs. There won't be this year either. Especially since OSU already boat raced Wisconsin earlier this season.

I think the harder question is what do you do with Ohio State? Seems pretty obnoxious to be at the top of the heap at the end of the regular season that one dang game can push you off, especially since they already pasted Wisky once.

What other 1 loss team deserves it more than OSU if they lose?

Well, Auburn blew its chance a few years back. We were close to seeing it.

This Wisconsin team isn’t that Auburn one, and this Big Ten sure as flipping heck isn’t that SEC, so I agree.

At home though.... but I think UC OOC win saves them. Wisconsin needs to play the greatest half of football in recent history.

Agreed. It would just look bizarre for Wisky to beat Ohio State badly in the title game and then theh pick Ohio State anyway. Would be weird.

No it wouldn't. If you look at the total body of work, OSU is the easy pick. Wisconsin can win today and would still be 1-1 against OSU this season. If they only played once, and Wisconsin won big, I would agree with you. But OSU shut Wisconsin out earlier this year.

The fact that was at Ohio St though means something.

The penalty for losing to Wisconsin would be getting fed to Clemson.

If UW wins, say, 42-14 ... I'm not fully sure OSU goes and Wisconsin does not. Maybe the Badgers sneak in with two losses and OSU is left out. Hard to fathom but ...

So
LSU vs Oklahoma
Clemson vs Ohio St

yeah I could see that if it's a really close loss.

Newsflash, if the score holds, both teams get passed over for a team that got boat raced in front of a partisan crowd in essentially it's backyard...Georgia. You heard it here first.

Irony is that Alabama got in one year on that “body of work” stuff without getting a thirteenth game. Same argument for Ohio State here, but in the thirteenth game, neutral location, it’s different?

I’m annoyed that Minnesota crapped the bed after the Penn State game. I don’t get how Wisconsin even got to #8.

It turns out the reward for winning is .... also being fed to Clemson.
