Next week conference games start. Quickly running out of time for some marquee non-conference wins

AState couldn't overcome a 25 percent from the field 0 percent from 3 run in the first half. End up getting obliterated by Missouri State.

We'll finish nonconference play 8-3 assuming we beat our NAIA patsy to close out the month. Been blown out 3 teams and won by blowout a couple times, and then won a ton of close games.

Scott Cross has Troy on a bit of a roll after starting out the season rough, with a bunch of close losses.

Now on a 3-game winning streak after beating Jacksonville State, 60-55.

Just curious... after the past 2 seasons with your current coach and what all your fans have seen. Do you still wish you had Scott Cross? Or do you still think Chris Ogden was a good hire and is building something?

I think every year under Kaspar during finals week we take an entire week off then cap it off with a non-D1 game the first game back. That's his strategy for finals week for whatever reason.

Maybe multiple coaches across the league do that.

I’m here at “The Burr” for the App @ Howard game. 20 minutes before tip-off there are exactly 15 people in the stands. Of the 15, 8 are Appfans.

Yea well, I didn’t have to use all my toes so it was easy!

Ended up with +/- 225 people or so of which 40-50 were Appfans. Spoke with Coach Kern afterward. He was impressed with how many we had there. We have a surprisingly good alumni presence here in DC area. Hopefully that translates into more games here for our guys.

It’s unreal to think that gym is considered Division 1 quality.

It was a strange game. When GS tried to drive to the basket, one of their strengths, they would often get mugged with no foul called. There was a total of three fouls called in the second half. Bradley made 67% of their threes while GS shot 30%.

Not sure I like the idea of catching y'all after that kind of loss . . . But it is what it is, hopefully we can start y'all on a streak . . .
