Freeze is proven while Chaldwell is less so. But Chaldwell is likely more attainable.

I think I heard someone related to my former step great uncle’s friend’s neighbor say Dabo Swinney had always wanted to coach at Liberty.

I liked him at CSU too. If someone can win there, he must be good. I don't think we would be a high enough step up over Coastal Carolina. I'm not sure if he can get a solid P5 job at CCU so he may need to go to an AAC school first.

I like Clemson's OC as our head coach and for him to bring the QB coach (Streeter?) who used to be here under Rocco. That would be a strong combination.

I’m pretty sure he has turned down a few g5 schools waiting for a P5.

Auburn fired Gus Malzahn. This is a job that Freeze would leave for. Time to be worried though we'll be okay.

Nahhh worrying is for suckers lol. Whatever happens, we should always remember that we have a great AD.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Coach Freeze leaves for Auburn. The only drawback will be the constant pressure to beat Bama and always playing second fiddle to Bama in the state. But he can excel and win a NC there.
I hope he stays but I wish him well. We’ll get another good coach when the time comes.

You guys will be okay if he is hired away, but Mario Christobal is also on the Auburn radar. So you might not have anything to worry about.

One other thought I've had is this: what if Auburn was the place he wanted to coach, but he thought he had another year with this squad & isn't ready to move yet due to his family? It then becomes a question of what he values more. For most coaches, it would be the opportunity, no questions asked. But Freeze does seem to have changed his values after everything that happened at Ole Miss, & this would be the test to determine whether that's true or not.
