Quote:House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) failed to swear in witnesses, allowing Democrat counsel Barry Berke to get away with several false claims. He refused to strike Berke's attacks on President Donald Trump's motives from the record, arguing that Berke was a witness and not a staffer. But then he could not explain why he had not sworn Berke in, if he was a witness.
They genuinely do not care.
This whole thing is D- Political theater
Just vote already so it can be done and completely blunt the threat of House Impeachment to future Presidents
moving forward, it will be interesting to see if they have the ability to broach amending the constitution after this political debauchery or if the divide continues forward....
I'm pretty certain line 1b) will yield the latter....
That is the face of communism. If this had been said about Hillary, had she won, the dims would have been collectively apoplectic and would have spent no time telling the country that the GOP was the party of subversiveness and divisiveness, that we wanted nothing other than to overthrow a duly and constitutionally elected POTUS and that heads needed to roll for trying to start a coup of massive proportions. And they would still be projecting, I've been using that word for a while now without really understanding the incredible depths to which they would sink while engaging in that dynamic. EVERY accusation they have thrown at Trump, the right, and anyone who opposes them are the very things of which they themselves are guilty.
That start of your paragraph could be a quote from any number of Democrats in the 90s.
After more than 12-hours of debate, watching golf and pulling stunts Thursday, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee voted Friday morning to approve two articles of impeachment against President Trump. The first, abuse of power and the second, obstruction of Congress.
Two separate votes were held and both came down on party lines 23-17.
"The House will act expeditiously," Chairman Jerry Nadler said after the vote.
This is only the third time in U.S. history a president has been impeached in the House Judiciary Committee. While it is likely the full House will vote to approve the articles of impeachment and send them to the Senate for a trial, a number of moderate Democrats in Trump districts appear to be getting cold feet.
During deliberation and debate yesterday, Democrats were caught watching golf and Chairman Nadler fell asleep.
After planning to take a vote late last night, Nadler abruptly ended the hearing and resumed voting Friday morning for a television audience.
Meanwhile, the White House reportedly wants a lengthy Senate trial should articles of impeachment pass the full House sometime next week. The newly hired impeachment team, which includes former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and former Treasury spokesman Tony Sayegh, say they are more than ready to defend and acquit President Trump of any wrongdoing.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham gave a preview has said he does not want to lend credibility to Democrat efforts to falsely impeach President Trump and gave a preview of how next steps may be handled.
UPDATE: The White House has issued a response.
"This desperate charade of an impeachment inquiry in the House Judiciary Committee has reached its shameful end. The President looks forward to receiving in the Senate the fair treatment and due process which continues to be disgracefully denied to him by the House," White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said.
Someone should ask gNadler why it is OK for the DNC to hire a foreign agent to dig dirt on a political rival, take the verified lies and then use it against that rival (quid quo pro), but asking another foreign national to check out a different political rival is an impeachable offense (quid).

What a schitshow. Such blatant disregard for parliamentary procedure. Give the fat effer a badge and he thinks he's John Wayne.

It’s personal with Fat Nadler. At some point in the distant past Trump didn’t give him money when he went groveling. Trump had issues with him in New York for many years and this is just Fat Nadler’s attempt to get back at Trump. He’s failed miserably again.

Actually it is more than this. Back when Nadler was a state legislator, Trump wanted to buy up portions of Nadlers district which was slums and rejuvenate it. Their battle got personal and Trump eventually won out and the place is thriving. Basically Nadler wanted to keep his constituents poor and needy. That's where it all started.

When your purpose on this earth is to consume the souls of the damned, and Nadler has clearly consumed a lot, you can get some indigestion from time to time. Apparently when this happens, Schiff prepares an organic protein drink for Flounder to drink, which seems to calm his tum-tum.
