That’s funny.

Apps top three wins are more impressive than Cincys. One less loss as well.

If Memphis wins, they could be top 15 and I feel very deserving of the Cotton Bowl.

They are the most deserving this year if they beat Cincy again. However in year's past you could argue the G5 rep was a top 15 maybe top 10 team with a signature win or two and/or no bad losses.

Memphis beat a 4-8 Ole Miss team at home and then their next best win is Cincy at home. Didn't play UCF and lost at Temple. This is the weakest G5 NY6 resume since the first one in 2014. We've been used to the UCF/Houston type seasons or even the WMU undefeated season with two average P5 wins.

And while Georgia Southern fans sit in their kitchen and smoke cigarettes this weekend, we got a chance to keep widening the gap.

What we do on our own time is none of your business, thank you very much.

I mean, if we wanna do lines off the hood of our car, that's our own business.

They lost to Temple, who lost by 42 to UCF and 24 to SMU.

At least Georgia Southern was in a position to win against Minnesota. They faltered following the App game and at LSU but the win, on paper, isn't as bad as everyone wants to make it out to be.

The loss to Temple was on the road. GS has 5 losses, 1 of those was 21 points to a Troy team that’s not making a bowl ... their resume is clearly better

It’s funny that Ga Southerns biggest accomplishment in FBS now is beating App. Starting to get Western Carolina syndrome down in the Stink.

Like others said, 8-0 conference champion in our first year was a pretty big accomplishment, as was our 10-loss to 10-win turnaround.

But in terms of a single game, I must have overlooked y'all beating a top 20 team. Surely it's on your schedule somewhere, right?

So what's your biggest FBS single game win? Beating a 6-6 UNC? Or is it the 4-8 USC?

We will tell you how it is to be ranked if y’all tell us how it is to lose 10 games.

I count App has beaten more bowl eligible teams than Cincy this season, Am I wrong?03-weeping

The CFP is not consistent with its past, this year pure politics and corruption at play.

2019 - #19 Cincy loses to # 18 Memphis at home only drops one to # 20 what a joke!
2018 – #23 Boise State beats #21 Utah State, 33-24; USU drops out of next rankings, Boise State up to #22
2017 – #17 Washington beats #13 Washington State, 41-14; Wazzu drops to #17, UW up to #13
2016 – #14 Florida State beats #15 Florida, 31-13; UF stays at #15, FSU up to #12
2015 – #18 Ole Miss beats #21 Mississippi State, 38-27; MSU drops out of next rankings, Ole Miss up to #13
2015 – #13 Florida State beats #12 Florida, 27-2; UF drops to #18, FSU up to #9
2014 – #14 Wisconsin beats #18 Minnesota, 34-24; Minnesota drops out of next rankings, Wisconsin up to #13

I know a certain Power 5 coordinator that can take anyone to 10 losses.

RE: Week 14 CFP Poll
App St need two things. Win the next two games this year and keep Drink. That should help the team start ranked in preseason or right outside it. They started too low this year and one loss did them in.

It sucks the committee handed the Access Bowl to the AAC already. Would have been much more entertaining if Boise and App St still had a shot.

We measure our success in seasons, not singular wins. You should try it. Tune into ESPN this Saturday to watch us play. I know Georgia Southern won’t be doing anything.

We can go by seasons as well. Like that time we posted an 8-0 mark in conference play. Something we've kept y'all from accomplishing two years in a row.

Think about that while watching the Cotton Bowl from your couch.

Not sure you want to expand this discussion to much more than the games between the two schools the past 2 seasons. Think about that while we have a chance to add even more to the below resume this weekend.

Resumes since App/GS joined the league:

Almost five seasons in. Two more losses than Ark state with 1 and 3/4 seasons of zero wins. Are we nervous? Nah.
