That'll be coming by Friday, along with his reminiscing about Pete Gillen, Skip Prosser, Lenny Brown, and all his XU favs.

RE: Vermont game thread
Trevor Moore did not get into the game last night. Was he even on the bench? Or has he found a place in Brannen's doghouse. Joining Diarra, who was awful last night. No hustle, no passion, nothing.

He wasn't on the bench. He had a family member pass away recently, so I assume that's the reason.

Please allow me the honor to light your [exploding] cigar Mr. Doc.
I know it shouldn't matter a hill of beans but I really, really dislike this dude. Smug, arrogant, self-inflated ego doesn't even come close.

I mean I think it's true this year. Many UC fans won't be watching or will have separate screens going with the football game. I know I'm less interested than I normally would be

RE: Vermont game thread
To hell with that, I'll be posted up in a local watering hole losing my mind over both games at once. Last time I recall this happening we beat Oklahoma on the Cashmere Wright buzzer beater and then a few moments later pulled off a close win against UConn

12:06 of the 2nd half.
UC attempts shot
Shot is no good
Vermont grabs the rebound
All but Harvey and a Vermont player head down the floor
Vermont player punches Harvey
Harvey falls to the floor out of bounds
Ref is standing 5 feet away
No call
Should have been a flagrant 2 with ejection
Coach B saw it and didn’t say a word to any of the refs.
I didn't see that play, but it certainly reminds me of a Crosstown Shootout many, many years ago. Myron Hughes absolutely laid out a Xavier forward who had been elbowing him the entire game. Both players got tangled up under the basket as the ball, and officials, were headed down to the other end of the floor. Myron seized the opportunity to even the score, and punched him right on the chin. X player fell so hard it would have made Kenny Frease crawling on the floor seem like a tough guy.
And as a lifelong friend, Myron is one of the nicest and most gentlemanly guys I know. But I still tease him of the incident - which Channel 9 still occasionally brings out of the film vault.

We saw it and booed
Garbage officiating
The baseline ref seemed to be kind of looking that way and then looked at Harvey on the ground before heading down the floor. Ridiculous no call. I think Brannen got sick of talking to them realizing all it was going to do was get him a T eventually as they were deaf to him.
i didn't see the game, but it's pretty ****** if brannen saw it unfold and didn't stick up for his dude. zach's barely getting playing time as is. i find the latter strange esp considering what ails the cumberlands (you think they got a play called "cumberland gap?" i'm thinking like an outlet pass alley oop or something) and all the more reason for not logging the pine

He did not punch Harvey. He shoved him out of the way as Harvey was going up for the rebound and Harvey went flying. Should have been a foul, but it was not an assualt.
