Daily Press article this morning quoted Dane saying that Scott is out with a "lower leg injury" until
the end of December at the earliest.

Not great news...Scott was playing well.

ODU 1 for their last 8, but we have given it back 4 times already. Gotta clean up the TO's.

ODU now 2 for thier last 12, but we are only 2 for 6 in that run.

Refs suck as always.

Tribe closed out the half with a 2 for 10 streak.

ODU 1 for 14 from 3, Tribe 3 for 15 from 3. Kids at home, turn the channel.

This team loves nate and Andy on the perimeter. I still don't get it. They are both good shooters, but it is a win for the defense every time they shoot. They cannot be stopped inside and being on the perimeter takes away the chance for a offensive rebound. They are doubling the bigs in the post. If your man digs, relocate and punish them with an open shot.
Frustrating game to watch. This ODU team is pretty poor. There is no reason other than careless play for them to keep the scoring close.

Seems like as good a time as any to remind the AD to get rid of Flo Sports...

Would love to catch a few minutes of the game, but not going to pay a monthly fee for the 10 minutes I can spare.

Worse ODU team I've seen in the last 45 years.

Problem is that we have been deteriorating fundamentally, since the Stanford game. Otherwise, this game should not be close. Our lack of ball movement, spacing, and lack of playing inside out is puzzling. Defense is not where it was. Really concerned about the dropoff in play after Knight, Van Vliet, Loewe, and sometimes Barnes. The decline in Hamilton's play on both ends is something we cannot afford with Thornton unavailable. We're only going to be as good as our supporting cast, and at the moment I hold my breath anytime it's in their hands.

I hope Scott is able to plug the leaking with his floor leadership and that his injury doesn't hurt his level of play for the balance of the season when we get him back.

Why are our double trouble keep shooting NBA 3 point shots?

Both teams shooting terribly. W&M hasn't scored from the floor in almost 4 minutes.

I guess our bigs are coached to come out and screen the ball handler and look for the step out 3 or a roll to the hoop. I just wish the bigs would hard post, get a clear out, let the bigs work. I'd like to see the results.
