Even though we got drummed vs. Gonzaga, Seton Hall, and Alabama this past week...I liked what I saw from our squad (mostly freshmen). I think we'll surprise some teams this year.

interesting tidbit on early season RPI......

USM is 0-6 with a 91 RPI
Tulane is 6-1 with a 298 RPI...of Tulane's 6 wins three of the opponents haven't won a game while 2 others have won 1 game each.

and our Saturday opponent SIU is 2-5 with wins over 0-6 UTSA along with 1-6 North Carolina Central

not saying we will win 1 or both but I like our chances a little more than I did last week in the Bahamas

Surprised to see ODU favored on the road in this one. W&M has looked pretty impressive and ODU has reverted to their not being able to score ways the last few games.

I see no channel is listed for the Akron @ Marshall game. Can someone tell me if Marshall streams home games online or anything? I unfortunately can't make the trip, but would like to watch the game if possible.

Sorry, only way you'll get it is CUSA.tv which is a paid subscription, and from everyone I know who had tried it, they hate it. I don't even bother listing it anymore.

I don't think you'll have to worry about ODU hogging a top pod spot this year. Hell, they may have to create a fourth-tier pod just for them.

WKU blows a 10 point lead against Wright State and misses a game-tying layup at the buzzer to lose 76-74. Unbelievable.

We just got dumpstered by W&M. The regression is much worse than anticipated.

Very happy to get that win over UTA. I hope they are one of the better teams in the Belt this season.

Next up we have Oklahoma at home tomorrow night. That would be a big win if we can pull it off.

UTEP will win CUSA this year.
