Now that TJ Carter is honestly out can we make a single stop? Tua's out...I guess that helps slightly..
Where is that women's soccer team?

RE: Week 14 AP poll
Are we only allowed to have 3 teams ranked? Why the hell is SMU not ranked?

RE: Week 14 AP poll
App State and BSU SOS is almost identical. App State has #31 Louisiana and BSU has #48 Hawaii. App State could jump BSU or Cincy could jump both beating Memphis on the road. BTW the SEC will not fill
– Jared Birmingham Bowl vs. American Athletic
– Walk-On’s Independence Bowl vs. ACC

And likely 2 of these. Orange will go SEC and probably the Cotton.

– AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. Big 12
– Belk Bowl vs. ACC
– Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten (most likely the ACC)
– TaxSlayer Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten (most likely the Big Ten)
– Texas Bowl vs. Big 12

Travesty.

@Williams_Justin
Commissioner Mike Aresco on the AAC conference call: "I think if Cincinnati wins (on Saturday), they should go (to the Cotton Bowl) as well."

Aresco again trumpeting the merits of a potential two-loss conference champion earning a NY6 bid.

I think head-to-head Cincy would beat both BSU and ASU.

That’d be a fun ball game.

He keeps going to bat for the conference at every single opportunity, which is exactly what a hard-working conference Commissioner should be doing.

Which means all AAC fans except Cincy should pull for Memphis.

I agree.

Memphis better be up for the game. The last two CCG games with UCF and Memphis were brutal to me as a Knight fan.

Fun? For who? Cincy would absolutely roll Appy and/or Boise St., wouldn't even be close.

Agree to disagree. If Temple wasnt so inept on offense, we’d REALLY be Cindy fans this weekend.
Personally I think App beats Cincy, comfortably. Memphis likely beats App, and I think we match up poorly with Navy.

An App/Cincy line would be 3-4 points and you wouldn't lay a dime on the Cincy money line.

RE: Week 14 AP poll
All four teams are fairly close. Cincinnati has played a better schedule, in a better conference, has better losses and if they beat Memphis will have better wins. Cincinnati will rightfully go to the Cotton Bowl and that's not a knock on Boise or App State who are comparable teams, better by some measures not as good by others.

Can't disagree with any of this. Games between any of the four would be well worth the price of admission.

Cincinnati against App and Boise? Bearcats win with one hand tied to their feet.

A fun and simple exercise for App State and Boise fans.

If Cincinnati replaces Ohio State with ETSU or Portland State, does a 12-1 Cincinnati beat out a 12-1 Boise State or a 12-1 Appalachian State? I say no doubt in my mind on the basis of a better overall resume with better performances against common opponents and the least bad loss on top of wins against UCF and Memphis (in this hypothetical). In essence, Cincinnati is being penalized for playing the toughest opponent in college football and not winning, which is hilarious.

The good news is they almost certainly will pass Boise and stay ahead of App State if they win. Honestly I think App State and Boise both have reasonable arguments as to being the better team (UC has good arguments as well), but UC will have the better resume and that will be enough. I'd be arguing if I were their fans as well and I have sympathy for them if they get left out, but I feel good that UC will be rewarded for beating every team they should beat on their schedule and only losing to the number 1 team in the country and number 1 ranked G5 team (then avenging that loss).

App would just as likely have the same record as Cincy with Cincy schedule as Cincy would with App's schedule. The teams are just that close.
