The top four remain as is with Utah 5th and Oklahoma 6th and I believe Baylor moved up to 8th. I do remember that Florida was 9th and Penn State was 10th. Didn't pay much attention to the rest but it seems that Notre Dame was 13th. Wisconsin must have been 7th.

So that should give this argument more grist to grind.

Baylor was 7th and Wisconsin was 8th.

Good enough for me. Wisconsin likely drops after next Saturday anyway. They are solid but one dimensional. Baylor / Oklahoma should be interesting.

I expect L.S.U. to beat Georgia and the 4th slot will then open up to either Oklahoma or Baylor vs Utah if they win. If Utah loses I expect the Baylor / Oklahoma winner to get that 4th slot. This wouldn't have been true two weeks ago but it's setting up that way now as the committee positions those they want in and the Alabama / Auburn placement tells me they are also setting up bowl slots. Alabama would pitch a ***** about having to go to the Cotton and play Memphis. It seems to me they are setting Auburn up to have to take that spot. I look for Florida to go to the Orange and play Virginia Tech. We'll see, but the ranking looked mighty suspicious to me with regard to bowl placement.

Where I think it's interesting- they have it set up now where if-
Oregon beats Utah
Baylor beats Oklahoma
and Wisconsin beats Ohio St

for Wisconsin to take the #4 spot over Baylor.

Two losses had better keep them out or there will be controversy. I don't think they've thought this through that far, but the set up is as you suggest, I just don't think the outcome would be. And it depends on how far Georgia falls with a close loss to L.S.U.
