Some people will quibble over weather or not the extra $4mil means that much to each individual school by the time you divide it up 12 ways, but I'm more about dominating and TOTALLY possessing the access spot away from the G4, and eventually forcing the Autonomy vote to come our way. I can just hear the whining in a couple of years.... "Waaaa, Waaaa, Those mean 'ol AAC guys NEVER let us go to the NY6! Waaaaaaa!!! Daddy[P5]!!!! Make 'um stop!!! We want to play!!!"

Of course, all of that through their media shills in a more dignified tone.

6.5 for UC seemed like stealing money at the beginning of the year. You had to pay a large amount for it, but that o/u never made sense.

Only problem with that is, I think they will send Boise St to the Access bowl if Cinci wins... I love the bearcats but I almost think its best for the AAC if Memphis wins out, otherwise we will let the MWC snag it from us.

It probably is best for the AAC for Memphis to win, which is why everyone but Cincinnati fans will be rooting for Memphis. And I totally understand that.

We were in the same exact spot last year. If we had beaten UCF, somebody else would have taken the NY6 spot vs. LSU.

As a parting/party gift for UConn since I am certain they have never seen their name at the top of anything related to football

(worst to first).

That said, most of you seem to be enthralled by Memphis State's ref aided game on Friday.

NOT ME.

I didn't even see the BLOCK IN THE BACK on the opening kickoff. Please go to our board to see the screen shot of it as the refs were apparently checking out the cheerleaders at that moment (because it happened right next to the ball carrier).

Then, in a three point game and right when we stop Elvis U on 3rd down to get the ball back to go down the field to win... that's right... PENALTY.

Now keep in mind this crap had been going on the entire game between BOTH sides, but that's the ONLY ONE they call. They made fun of Perry Young on Gameday yesterday for flopping after a Memphis thug whipped around and gave him a nice little roundhouse to the head. Now did THAT get called? NO. Same thing. They don't call it on them. They do call it on us... at the most pivotal point of the game, I might add. This gives the Tiggers more chances to get their last TD that they NEVER SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN.

So all I heard last week was how the mighty Memphisians were going to beat us by more than they could count on their fingers and toes. Didn't happen.

Rematches always favor the underdog. Watch Rocky II and see what happens. In the meantime, keep enjoying your wacky tobaccy and posting your rebel yells all week.

1. UC
2. Memphis State
3. WHO CARES...

...Only the pivotal times.

Expect more of the same this Saturday.

We had to deal with it the last 2 years on 4 different occasions.

We didn't like it anymore than you do but we earned it. Besides, as we were constantly reminded, it's what's best for the conference.

SMU - #26 in AP and Coaches Polls, curious if the CFP ever releases a list below #25?
