Rolleyes Time to give credit where it’s due
I’m kind of upset that more people aren’t congratulating me on my effort today. That was a tough game. Those guys are better than their record. I made some early mistakes but I recovered and got most of it cleaned up at the half. You just got to keep your chin up, head in the game. They made some incredible plays, too. Had me reaching for the “Off” button on my remote quite a few times. But I remember coach’s voice from that early season press conference where he said, “trust that the hard work will pay off” and it did today. I’ll go celebrate this one tonight, then I’ll turn my attention to fans of next Saturday’s game on Twitter. All credit to God and my teammates on the field. Couldn’t do it without them.

It would have been easy to look ahead, but good job taking it one game at a time.

UAB played the weakest schedule in FBS this season.

The only West team out of UNT, LT, USM, and UAB (the ones with probably any title hopes this year) that had reasonably more difficult cross division games than the others was USM since they played both FAU and WKU.

I don’t like the advantages that the NCAA gave UAB to be able to win the League title last year, but you have to take your hat off to them this year for winning the west. Absolutely the best coached team.
