ULM Bowl chances
Just plowing through. Even with a loss the Warhawks ain't out.

Now to get in after a loss they need some serious help.

Liberty must lose at home vs New Mexico State
Boston College at Pitt becomes meaningless because BC is in with win or in via the APR pool ahead of ULM
Michigan State must lose at home vs Maryland
Oregon State must lose at Oregon
North Carolina at North Carolina State is meaningless because UNC in with win and NCST ahead of ULM in the APR pool with a win
Colorado must lose at Utah
ULM must win at Louisiana for 6 win eligibility but loss puts them in the APR pool
Army must lose at Hawai’i AND must lose in Philadelphia vs Navy

Then APR pool
Duke must lose to Miami
Boston College covered above
MTSU must lose at WKU
NC State covered above
North Texas must lose to UAB
Syracuse must lose to Wake Forest

Warhawks would tie South Carolina in the APR pool, but only if South Carolina beats Clemson.

Basically ULM would need all underdogs to lose and favorites Liberty and Michigan State to lose

All look possible except for that Liberty/NM State matchup. NM State is horrible.

So your saying there’s a chance! Yes! So obviously if we win it looks good.

Does Stanford factor into that at all? They play Notre Dame so a win is unlikely at best, but it would put them at 5 wins.

PAC 12 rules prohibit 5-7 teams from accepting bowl spots

If we finish 5-7, I hope we don’t go to a bowl. Shouldn’t anyone go with a losing record.

I hope we hit 78 without a 5-7.

I'm agnostic on UL-ULM because there is no way for both to lose.

You either have to have enough bowl games for all the 6-6 teams but let 5-7 teams in every once in a while, or have few enough games to leave 6-6 teams out every year

ULM has to beat UL now, otherwise they are out.

My belief on 5-7 is this.
Manage to win the conference. Go to bowl
Manage to win the division. Still say go to bowl.
Bowl eligible but not selected at any point in the past 8-10 years, go to bowl.
Have bowl drought of five or more years. Go to bowl.

App, AState, San Diego State, etc., who have had nice bowl runs should balk at 5-7.

Still have the worst football hangover. We are just cursed. We are just Charlie Brown with Lucy pulling the football every time we think we are there. We had every opportunity to win that game and go to a bowl. Same story, different day. ULMost.
