Good game ECU. You all have shown improvement and Ahlers is a player.

Even with Monty trying to waste his career Shamari Brooks is making his mark. Today is the the type of game we could see from him every game if we used him in the passing and just quit trying to run up the gut.

Glad the seniors got a win. This had better not be enough for Monty to keep his job. It's time for this nightmare to end.

I missed the entire second half due to attending a funeral. Maybe that was a small blessing. My only question now...How many days until baseball?

The Apathy for ECU is real even on message boards, game threads that used to go on for 10-15+ pages are now only going for 3 nobody cares anymore and I don’t blame them. Dark times in Greenville for sure.

If clt had Houston you would have won CUSA. As sorry as cusa is you should be bowl eligible. If you would have had our schedule and your coach you would barely have a win. Enjoy your bowl and your weak conference. ECU will be just fine.

You're right and you won't hear about it. But when we return to being good again and get attendance back you probably still won't like to hear about it.

I watched Tulas earlier in the season and thought we were going to be in trouble when we played. Then we had those fools gold games against UC and SMU. Then we reverted to form against UCONN and I knew what was coming. Overmatched physically against y'all (like nearly every team we play) and your team was hungry to get over the hump after so many close calls. If you don't lose a lot of players your team should go bowling easily next year.

Who was your quarterback in '05 and '06? I thought his name was Smith as well. A very good player I recall.

I had unrealistic expectations at the beginning of the year. Now that the season is over I can now state that this will be a 3-4 year project. We have the right man leading the way and in truth, we are not that far off from winning more games... but we are a long ways off from contending for the conference crown.

I’m going to hope for 6 or 7 wins next season. Tulsa, if y’all return much you should definitely be bowling next year.

Paul Smith. Started 2005-2007 I believe. One of the best to come through Tulsa ever.

Sorry I picked ECU to win. I drank the Ahlers Kool-Aid after SMU and Cincinnati games. I was feeling the funk after the Houston game and thought we would lose on the road. Two missed FGs made and we would still be playing. Oh well there is next year Lord willing.
