Either one works, actually. Convention has it "Cincy" but I have seen "Cinci" used as well. I think it was mostly because it was the old English standard to finish nicknames and abbreviations with a "y" but that's just a guess.

People from Cincinnati will also see "Cinti" and know what it means.

Because making fun of them by calling them 'Cindi' would look silly.

Assuming you are traveling by Bus, that might add up to two additional days of rest/practice/film review.

If it rains then they'll have to wait there until the dirt roads are passable.

04-chairshot Although if it rains, it should be an easy victory. Probably the roads will be passable by Monday to get ready for Navy.

We have the Beale St. Landing Strip now for the River Cruisers to dock.

Beale St. is just a block away from the boat dock, with restaurants, bars, and hotels all around.

I have been on a number of nice riverboats. Upscale river cruises are really popular for Americans traveling in Europe...not nearly as much as in the US. Maybe the access to Caribbean cruises has something to do with this.

This time of year that could be a while. I was gonna warn you not to step in the horse droppings, but then I realized you guys would never know the difference so it didn't matter.

Yep, Viking is building some ships modeled on their European ships and entering the Mississpi River market

Memphis is new to the Riverboat Cruise market. I would assume price reflects your experience in the U.S. compared to your experience in Europe, if what you say is accurate. That's just Fundamental Economics 101. We aren't advertising the Trump Atlantis vs. the Motel 6.

I had a great time offering folks from New Orleans a brief tour of downtown Memphis on my lunch hour when I worked in downtown Memphis on the river.

It sounded like a giant Ice-Cream Truck parked at Beale St. Landing. The boat was blasting "Good Ole' Rocky Top" for all of downtown Memphis to hear while it was parked.

Clearly not the sharpest Business Managers to build their brand.

Interesting that 3 of the leaders in the pick-em thread are bearcat fans and all three picked Memphis to win.

78 - 11 RuckleSt
77 - 12 The Board

Just have fun throughout the weekend Bearcats fans. Party Hardy on Beale St. if you are on Vacation! Tomorrow is going to be awesome! Stay another week and party your brains out if Memphis wins tomorrow! We'll all be packing and heading North if Cincy wins tomorrow.

Stop by any booth on Tiger Lane tomorrow and take in the moment. You are welcome to all the Memphis BBQ and beer you can enjoy before the game. Don't be shy. Mi casa es su casa!

Ole Miss kicking for tie in Egg Bowl. Could open spot for AAC team since SEC can't fill bowl slots--and he misses it after unsportsmanlike conduct penalty

Set on the DVR. Memphis has shown it deserves the NY6, no offense to UC. UC has had a great year.

Ole Miss fills Toilet Bowl slots. AAC can do better. SEC should build a better product than Ole Piss.
